Can A Lpn Apply For Medical Assistant Jobs?

If you were a licensed LPN could you apply for MA jobs in Dr.’s offices? Or would they condiser you too over qualified.

    if you have job experience of working as LPN and taking care of Medical Assistant duties then you can make a really nice resume and should have no problem i suppose

    you can apply, but alot of offices want you to know how to draw blood,do ekgs or other things a lpn might not normally do in a hospital.
    a good way to get your foot in the door is to work for a reigstry/temp agency for nurses,ask for contracts in doctors’s offices. a few of my friends work in docotr offices and they are lvn’s one does outpatient psyhe,another does orthpedics, some hospitals also hire for their outpatient clinics,but it’s kinda hard to get your foot in the door,unless you know someone or use an agency

    most doctors offices are doing away wtih LPN’s and only useing MA’s but it’d never hurt to try
