Also I am a Registered Medical Assistant and am interested in taking courses to become an LPN is there any difference in the two job titles.

    There is a great difference between a Medical Assistant and an LPN. If you are already an LPN in Oklahoma, check with the Texas State Board of Nursing regarding transferring your LPN license. If you are not already an LPN, you can look up community colleges that offer LPN programs. Some of the Medical Assistant courses you have already taken may transfer. I would research several to find out which ones will or won’t take classes that you already have. Good luck.
