Can I still get a student loan with bad credit?

I know Sallie Mae does credit checks, however are their other programs that will not do credit checks that can loan me a student loan for a private nursing school.

    Yes my friend has the worst credit ever and got a loan out for school. I don’t know who she went through but you should do some research n the internet. She also got a subsidized student loan so she doesn’t have to pay back the interest.

Most lenders require Job history, credit check with payment history, and income too debt ratio-which means how much you make monthy and how much that goes towards debt.     Go to your Financial Aid Office and ask for a school loan and not a private loan. The school doesn’t based your loan on credit, it is mainly on need for you to attend college.

    Yes you can but you have to pay higher interest rate. Have you consider to apply for scholarship? To get scholarship you don’t need to provide your credit rating. Some friends of mine at college told me that they have valuable information regarding scholarships from this place.
