Can I Transfer A Michigan Lpn Or Rn License To Alabama?
This Question From Michigan LPN Programs | 1 Answer
You can transfer a Nursing license, no matter whether its an LPN or an RN license because the NCLEX is now a nationwide test. The only thing that may change when you transfer your license is the criteria for keeping your license from year to year. You may have to attend more seminars, inservices, or classes to get a higher number of Continuing Education Credits. You do however have to go through a process of changing your license from one state to another. You may check with the Board of Nursing in Michigan to see what paperwork you have to fill out in both states to officially and legally transfer your license.

You can transfer an LPN or RN license to any state. It’s just a matter of filling out the paperwork and providing a copy of your license and paying the fee. It’s not a complicated process.
