This Question From Georgia LPN Programs | 4 Answers
i am moving to new york city in december 08′ & i want to find a community college that has nursing (Cna, Lpn, Rn) programs and/or a pharamcist technician programs. i will be living in the bronx borough. i have sent an email to (bronx community college) but no reply back. i want something i can apply from afar, like apply online or enroll online because i live in georgia. and wont be back in newyork til december, (trying to save more money for the big move.) i want something that maybe i could attend jan 09 or whenever a spring term starts. i would like it to be affordable , (because im using FAFSA) thats all i can think of im a struggling college student . *weep weep* so if you also know any other ways i can get money without taking out a loan that will be great too. i am a 19 year old female . & this would be my 2nd year in college but i will be applying as a freshman (is that legal?) i hope that you guys can answer my questions they will be very helpful & best answer for sure will get 10pts.
p.s. please dont judge my life. like “why are you moving to nyc when you can barely afford college?” if you really knew my life you would know & understand . so please no judging
thankyou .
i am also a deaf/hard of hearing i have a cochlear implant (it makes me hear alot better) i want something thats deaf friendly & provide interps.

Good luck to you!
You can search a database of all City University of New York community colleges as well as all private colleges offering nursing programs at http://www.OneCampusNYC.com (you can search the database directly from the righthand side of the homepage).
OneCampusNYC also has a financial aid section with links to numerous financial aid websites. Good Luck!
well i go to bronx community college the teachers are ok its my first semester here.. but if you want a more diverse atmosphere and a better campus try BMCC in manhattan… also look into cuny 4 year universities such as lehman college. most cuny schools are more affordable than private universities. good luck and best wishes ps as far as distance enrollment just go to the cuny website and start the whole application process it will ask you to send in any needed documents.
