Do I have to do the LPN program befor I go throught the RN program or can I just go through the RN program?

  1. You can go straight through to the RN program in most universities. It will take 4 years to complete and the assignments of wards will depend on availability and experience required. Most freshy RNs don’t get to choose their wards, it’s assigned to them by the hospital wherever needed. If you’re in high school, keep an eye out on the deadlines for submitting applications and grades. Check the school’s nursing program online for those details and whether they allow a straight out of high school path, or require you to take 3 years of another major first before applying.
