Yes there are LPN’s in the US Army. The EMT MOS is 68W Healthcare professional, and the LPN MOS is simply an Additional Skill Identifier thereby making it 68W M6. You will go to the 68W course at Ft. Sam Houston and then move on to the M6 course to become an LPN. Below is a link to give a better description. I will tell you this, it’s very difficult to get this MOS on the active duty side of the house for initial entry mainly due to the fact that a lot of 68W Medics put in for it while in the Army. Do you mean the 68 WM6? The M6 identifier is for those with the additional training and credentials for an LPN. If you are not already an LPN and you want to go into the Army for this training, then be prepared to score very well on your ASVAB. This is a rather challenging and competitive field.
