For ARMY health care Professionals(nurses specificly)?

how can a reservist E-5 LPN become an RN 2nd LT and will uncle sam pay or what kind of programs are there for this type of deal? is it just school and a direct commission or is an officer basic involved or can she stay enlisted and be an RN E-7/8?

    RN’a are usually a commision with a Bachelors! They Army might pay if you were to do active time for the education! I know many ASN colleges that have special programs for LPN’s going to an RN! Just not sure of the Army’s view of an Associates degree, and I rather suspect that you need a BSN!

    Most officers go through a short school on the facts of being an Officer. More of a informational course than anything else!

    Most Officers, except some specialties like Md’s and Rn’s, have already gone through Basic! The USMA goes through basic!

    talk to an AMEDD Recruiter and see if you can get in the Army Nurse Corp program. It’s also on the Amedd center and school website.
