How do I get an international Nursing license?

My Husband and I want to move to St Croix someday (in about five years) I am an LPN studying for my BSN. How would I go about getting an international nursing license? I am an LPN in good standing in the state of Ohio.

    You can’t …………. you have to apply and qualify in the country you wish to practice in……be sure to completely understand that the majority of countries will not allow you to practice when they can hire and train their own………in many cases its impossible…….and……..you must be in complete control of the local language………..

    There is no such thing as an international nursing license. You can apply for a nursing license in another country but the process is lengthy and expensive. If your education and experience are deemed to meet their requirements then you may be given permission to write the exam for that country. You will also have to write an exam proving complete fluency in the official language of that country. You will also have obtain a visa allowing you to work in that country.
