You need lots of help on this!
First, it’s not easy on the eyes. Consider better formatting using underlined section descriptions and bullet points under each of those sections.
Second, you’ve included a lot of personal info that is not needed and will hurt more than help. You’re putting your whole life history in it, and a resume should include just enough to create an interest for them to ask you to interview. You can tell them the details DURING the interview. This resume is much too wordy.
Third, you should use a format that structures your resume chronologically as far as your experience goes.
You also don’t want to make a different resume for every job you apply to. Make a comprehensive one that will suffice for any industry you choose to work in.
My resume has my demographic info centered at the top of page 1. Under that is my Objective, followed by Employment History, then Education/Licenses/Credentials and lastly Skills.
You have a nice background of skills and your volunteer work will look great once you get a professional resume format and plug the info into the proper categories.
I agree with the other person’s answer, too – I’m not too sure about Career Builders, because I asked them to critique my resume and I never heard back from them. I would recommend your local unemployment office for help in creating a nice resume.
There are several websites that will critique your resume for free to help write it for more effectiveness – http://www.careerbuilder.com is one example
