How Much Do Lpn Make In Oklahoma?

I am planning on going to school….I have to wait till next year because I am saving so I dont have to take out a loan just to go to school…I looked up one school and it says about 12-18 months for the program…does that sound right? I have never worked in the medical field ever so is it hard?? very demanding??

12-18 months is about right. I was an LVN (same as an LPN) for 7 years. The level of difficulty depends on the job really. It’s not that difficult to learn things, but as far as knowing medications, that’s where I thought it got a little more difficult. You’ll always be working under a registered nurse or doctor, so that makes it a lot easier too. I became a registered nurse in May- now that’s a whole different ballgame! Good luck!
