I want to go to school for nursing but im not sure which one to do first.i want to go for lpn then work my way up to rn.but this girl i know says that lpn don’t make enough money for the work they have to do.and that i should just go straight for the rn.but which is better?and wat is the salary between the 2 if your just starting and live in new jersey???and which school is a good school for nursing out here?

If you can stay in school and get your RN, it will be worth it in the long run. An RN can make twice as much as an LPN and your work opportunities will be greater. Most hospitals will not even hire RNs. As an LPN you can certainly work in a nursing home or doctors office. To find good schools that offer nursing in New Jersey to to Collegeboard.com and do a college search. It will give you a list of the schools that meet your criteria. Good luck.
