I would suggest becoming a CNA first, a certified nursing assistant works with nurses to record patents' vital signs and with activities of daily living. Once you do this you can earn anywhere from $9 to $16 an hour. Some BSN<a href="http://www.lpn-programs.com/"> programs </a>require you to become one before acceptance to the program. But anyway,<a href="http://www.lpn-programs.com/"> LPN </a>is honestly a waste of time and money, you should just start your pre reqs for the<a href="http://www.rnstudents.com/"> RN </a>program. I suggest starting in a community college and get your associates, they usually have waiting lists and you can work during that time and take some classes towards your BSN.
