I Am An Lpn Wanting A Slight Career Change. Can Anyone Tell Me About Transcription/coding Jobs??
This Question From LPN Nursing Careers | 3 Answers
I have been in the business for 20 years and well, kind of tired of it and thinking of doing something well, away from people for a while. P.S. I do love my job, I just need a change.

There is a high demand for this field and it pays well . Go For it …
I am an RN and I have 4 kids so I wanted to workfrom home. I do transcription andchart audits from home now. With the dictation I make .17cent a line which is a really good rate (here anyway Greenville, SC) I make about $4000.00/month doing it. I only do 1 obgyn office because I dont want to take on anymore right now. Since you are a nurse you should have no problem with the terminology it is a good job but it can get boring
With your medical background you should have no problem learning either.
