I don't know what they told you but I don't know anybody who enlisted and served in the military and went to college simultaneously. If you can pull that off more power too you but that's probably not going to happen. I wish you all the best and we all apprecaite your service. It's difficult to answer your question because I don't know anybody who served in the military prior to Peace Corps. The only people I knew who didn't have college degrees were in the 40's and 50's and they had lots of experience. I would suggested going to www.linkedin.com and seach for Peace Corps Recruiters and ask them. They would be able to give you an answer based upon their experiences with applicants. Good Luck!
