I have a bachelors but would like to become an LPN any accredited online programs available?

I have a bachelors in general business from an accredited college. I currently work in the assisted living industry, have a passion for it, and would like to pursue an LPN or RN license simply to provide nursing care to assisted living residents (I would not like to work within a hospital setting). The current community colleges in my area have 2-year waiting lists and I would like to begin a program now.

Are there any accredited programs online that provide a LPN degree or RN degree? Thanks.

Hi I feel for you, I too want to become an RN and I have only done the Home health aide all my career as a CHHA. I love working in this environment , you get to have an extended family with the elderly and you know your doing the best you can to help them feel comfortable and you get to see them often. The problem is that there are no online programs for the LVN or RN because it is mostly hands on and science courses. There are however Lvn programs through the local colleges and or private. Though you cannot transfer those classes to an accredited school if you ever want to climb the ladder, but at least it will get you what you want. If you do go that route, make sure your license will be good if you happened to move out of state. Lots of luck…From a blessed, happy mommy of a beautiful 5 1/2 yr old girl and a beautiful 1 1/2 yr old girl, hubby of 15 years who has epilepsy and I am a SAHM wanting to go back to school, but trapped by all the driving I do for my hubby so he can finish school, and I am the sole driver!!!! May need to get an online degree in business or health care.
