I Need Advice On Becoming An Lpn / Lvn / Adn South Central Pennsylvania? Can A Portion Be Done Online? ?
This Question From Pennsylvania LPN Programs | 1 Answer
QUESTION:
I am a 25 year old mother of three looking to become a nurse, I would like to go the LPN way first because from what I’ve read, it only takes two years. I have a few questions and appreciate any advice.
Is there any way this degree can be done online except for clinicals?
What are some good schools in the south central PA area for nursing, and how much do they cost?
What are the differences in education requirements for LPN, LVN and ADN?
I’ve heard the LVN requires only one year? Is this true and where is this offered?
Also, I have some college credits from around 2001, just general courses, how hard would these be to transfer, if even possible?
Thanks, I really appreciate any advice.

well, im from california and i hope somehow i could help you with what i know.
i tried to enter an adult school lvn course years ago but failed to qualify. it was just one year for $3000. it was cheaper because it is supported by the city (Hacienda La Puente Adult School).
maybe there is a similar program in your area ???
i also heard that there is an online course for lvn. check out get http://geteducated.com/ for courses and accreditation.
good luck !! i hope i was of little help
