If You Get Your Nursing License In California, Can You Still Practice In Other States?
This Question From LPN Nursing License | 2 Answers
I’m about to start nursing school and I will have my license in two years. My fiance just joined the Air Force so we will probably be moving around alot. I just want to know if I’ll be able to work in other states if my license is from California.

Each state either requires its own license or is a “compact state” (states that take a single license). This does not involve more testing, just paperwork and money. California certifies your license in good standing to the state you are applying for, you fill in the paperwork and pay the $ to the new state board.
you can always endorse the license to another state for you to be allowed to practice nursing there.
