LPN ck with the Air Force have a very good friend that went into the Air Force before she ever finished nursing school and Retired as a Major with lots and lots of responsibilities. From what she told me Sky is the limit in the Air Force as a nurse.
And no you are not to old, esspecially they way they are hurting for people with advanced educations. Marines do not have Nurses. The Navy, Army, and Air Force do.

In the AF at least if you are in boot camp before your 28th birthday you can go active duty otherwise it’s reserves or another branch for guard. You can turn 28 in boot but as I said you have to be in boot before you turn 28.

No, you are not too old. I believe they will allow you to enlist if you are under 32. You just have to show you are physically capable of complying with their standards (the older you are the lower the standards).

of course not, I think 36 is the limit, but if you have kids you have to sign a legal power of attorney for them to be taken care of by your family.

You are not too old, BUT..LPN will not get you a direct Comission into the Medical Community( you must have a BSN), so you’d have to go enlisted. BUT..HM is VERY limited for females and you may not be able to get in. so, you would have to be open to the possibility of going into another field, or holding out until you have the BSN and then trying for a DIRCOM.

Hell, with the shape of the forces right now, you should hold out for a HUGE singing bonus.
