im bored with my job as a LPN in geriatrics, i return to RN school in jan, what to do in the meantime?

i feel like a professional pill pusher. i want to know if there are any working opportunities for LPN’s (with a GOOD salary) that i may look into. Something that is more exciting then working in a nursing home and not at a hospital either, something different.

  1. hospice work? out and about, not confined to a building all day, could easily work part time while in school, they usually have flex and p/t weekends…am in st louis and hospices are always looking

  2. Hey. How r u? this is Cali. I live in stl too and i’m about to go take courses to become an LPN myself. Can u tell me where u went to get your LPN and was it a good school/program? By the way, u should email me sometime (stlcaligirl) at yahoo since we are in the same city and kind of have the same interests. I am 26 years old, Af-American and (I AM STRAIGHT) just to let u know. I just basically have no female friends because of how women can be so catty and kiddish sometimes. So that kinda resorts me to finding friendship in men, but it sucks because they always “trying something” u know? lol. Tryna be slick all the time. But anyhow i think u can look in the employment guides and riverfront times papers, and they usually have nursing jobs/opportunities listed. If u should wanna contact me my message number is
(314)720-0725. Either way take care girl. alright Peace.
