    The problem is that it’s getting more difficult to find LPNs, so they’re discussing letting others do LPN work because of the shortage.
    If anything they’re crying for trained LPNs and Winnipeg has a relatively stable population that will require more LPNs in the future. The cost of living here is significantly less than in some other parts of the country (such as Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto) but wages are still reasonable.
    If I were you I’d first speak to someone with Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Although health care workers are often prioritized both for temporary work permits and for immigration, you need to make sure you qualify first. Their website ishttp://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp
