   you have to apply to a company in california with your details, bio-data, residential proof and citizenship status and stuff…
   if you get selected to the company then they will send you an offering letter( not sure what its actually called) which you can use for application to the visa for US
   I suggest that you go to an experienced professional or some firm in your area which will help you with the application process, choosing a company related to your education etc for some money.
