  1. Personal preference and depends on your state rules. I know where I live ….LPN school is 1 year and RN 2 to 4 depends on the degree you want…but you can only challenge out of first semester so you’d have to go at least 1 1/2 years to be an RN on top of the LPN year…to me it was a waste of time …i just did my all my other classes part-time while I worked full time and when I got in …all I had left was the actual nursing classes…so I still could work full time even doing those. But like I say …whatever works for your personal situation.
