Is The Lpn Program Very Competitive As The Rn Program?

I was going to school majoring in Nursing (RN) until I changed my mind since I’ve moved 3 time already due to my husband being in the Army. I did have my pre-requisites finished but since we’re moving again to Kansas, I cannot apply for the RN program until I finish these 2 pre-requisites that they require at this new college in Kansas. I’m depressed because I don’t want to wait another year to apply and what if I don’t get in? So I decided to do the LPN since I am only lacking one class that I am able to take online and it isn’t too late for me to apply for the LPN program. I just need to know, is the LPN as very competitive as RN? I mean I wouldn’t think so, but what’s your opinion? Do you know anyone who was an LPN and went to a nursing school for RN’s? Thanks
