Lpn Career In Florida..?

QUESTION:

im thinking of becoming an LPN. well i wanted to know exactly if an lpn can work in a medical office. ive heard that in florida ofcourse, puts lpns in nursing homes. could that be possible? i do not want to work with old people. i heard of this when i took a medical course in high school.

    Yes, of course, a LPN can work in a doctors office or in a hospital; they may also work in home-health and a hospice. If you can become employed by a hospital; one of your benefits will be “tuition reimbursement”. In other words, if you return to school your hospital will reimburse your tuition on a sliding scale. Where I work they pay 100% if we make an A, 80% for a B, 60% for a C; and so on. I hope this helps you. Good luck!

    That’s not true. You can get a job at any doctor’s office if they hire you. I know a couple surgeons there and a plastics doctor and they hire nurses…that knows what they are doing.
