Lpn Employment In Hawaii?

This Question From Hawaii LPN Programs | 1 Answer

Most LPN/LVNs I know work in either a Dr.’s office/Clinic or in long term care/rehabilitation. It has become an obsolete position in most Acute Care Facilities, and even many offices and clinics use Medical Assistants more than LPNs. I know that the Community College that has the nursing program, has eliminated the LPN course.

I agree with Hummingbird. Your best bet for employment as an LPN is in the long term care setting. In acute care, it is pretty much 100% RN & in medical offices, it is mostly CMAs.
