LPN programs are offered by some community colleges and by private colleges as well. You could start by contacting Essex County Community College in Newark and asking of they have an LPN program or could tell you which community colleges near you offer one. Their web site is http://www.essex.edu/, ph # 973-877-3100, and they have several campuses.
If they don’t offer any LPN program near you, or if they do but their waiting list is long, you could also look into private schools near you that offer accredited LPN programs. You can find a list of accredited LPN programs in New Jersey here: http://rndegrees.net/practical-nursing-p…
Best wishes for your nursing career goals!
