New Jersey Licensed Lpn Wants To Move To Atlanta Georgia. Help?

This Question From New Jersey LPN Programs | 1 Answer

QUESTION:

My wife and I want to move down to Ga. I am a NJ Licensed LPN and want my Licensed to be endorsed to a Georgian License. I called the Georgia Board of Nursing and was told that “in order to qualify one has to have 1400 hours completed of schooling”. However, in NJ we only complete 1252 hours. Has anyone (LPN) moved down to Georgia and got their LPN Licensed endorsed there? What are the procedures? I don’t want to take a chance and apply for this transfer, pay over $100, knowing that my request might just be denied. Thanks for your time.

Unfortunately, you will have to meet the requirements of the state you are moving to. There’s no way of getting around this. Be prepared to fulfill the hours needed to complete your qualification.
