Is there any way to become a nurse or LPN threw an apprenticeship?

I currently work for a hospital as a nurses aid. The hospital will pay for me to go the school to become a nurse but i wouldnt get payed for like 4 years. I have 4 kids …Not an option. Plus i already know like half of what a nurse knows I was just wondering if theres a program where I can shaddow a nurse? Somthing other than sitting in a classroom relearning everthing i already know…. Any suggestions? Thx..

Hi my name is jessica i’m in high school (sophomore)15yrs old.
i want to be come a registered nurse, but first i want to get my LPN and get an entry level job and then go to a university to get my BSN. i’m just wondering is that a wise choice or would it just be a waste of time.((Should i go straight for my BSN))
because i hear there are waiting list as long as 3 years.
I want to get my BSN before i’m 23.
the colleges i’m thinking of applying are: NYIT,Massachusetts college of pharmacy and health science,City University of New York: New York City College of Technology,Duquesne University.

I’m 19, married, and have two children. I dropped out of school when I was 17 .. BAD BAD mistake, that I’m regreting now. I’m wanting to go back and get my GED through Adult Ed or possibly something online. OTHER than cornerstone. Because after I get my GED I’m going through onestop ( Job force ) and going back to school to become a LPN. I’m trying to go ahead and get my GED ASAP, because I need to sign up for my nursing classes before next week, because my first class will be in two weeks.

Anyway my question is, how long does it take to get the GED? How long does it take to finish it through adult ed and on the computer? When do you get you results back? Any other information would be great!

Oh BTW, I forgot to note. I can’t use cornerstone GED because the one stop work force does NOT accept it.
