Question about the college first program in the National Guard?

This Question From Army LPN Programs | 1 Answer

I had a quick question about the guard,

I saw that they offer a option for college first, now I wanted to do ROTC, but just so I have something to fall back on, I wanted to go to a 1 year tech school and get my lpn, but after that 1 year I wanted to go into the Army’s ROTC program for the medical corps, is there anyway to arrange, as well as does the army look at my high school gpa to determine if I even qualify for ROTC?

Thanks

Tyler

The ROTC will look at your grades if you are applying for a scholarship. As long as you can get into the school, you can take the ROTC classes since you’ll be using the Guard to pay for it anyway. Later, you can contract ROTC.
