Some Nursing Questions?!?!?!?

This Question From Alabama LPN Programs | 2 Answers

what is the difference between an LPN and an RN?
Which is better?
someone told me an LPN is lower and only takes 2 years and RN takes 4 but the school I plan to go to has a 2 year RN program???
my plan was to go ahead and get my 2 year RN degree then go back to school and get my bachelors, then get my masters… what would my job title be if I got my masters?
What degree do I have to get to become a NP???
as you may be able to tell I’m a bit confused and lost so any extra info would be nice too!!! I live in Alabama if it matters!

There is NO point to becoming an LPN. Basically, what it says is that you dropped out of school a semester before becoming an RN. You will take a major cut in pay, and you can’t do IV’s or any of that fun stuff nurses do! If you want to become a nurse practicioner (NP) you’re looking at least 4-6 years of school, but then again, you get paid so much more. Here’s how it works:
CNA>LPN>RN>NP as you can see, CNA is bottom of the barrell, so dont even bother. Just get your associates in nursing, you’ll make over 60,000 for a degree that only costs 6,000 at community college!
