Transferring An Lpn License From State To State?

This Question From Arkansas LPN Programs | 1 Answer

QUESTION:

I live in Arkansas and am attending school to get my LPN license. At the end of the course I will have a total of 48 credit hours. My boyfriend and I were discussing moving back to my home state of Michigan, or possibly Indiana…Is there any quick reference online somewhere that tells how many credit hours each state requires for an LPN certificate, and if a license with transfer from a particular state without any extra classes???

You could call your states Dept. of Health and ask them. I know for a CNA I would just need to fill out paperwork and then wait a month or two. I think it is the same for an LPN, but not sure. Just give them a call.
