    I’m not sure about Florida, but where I live in Arizona LPNs for the most part make more working at hospitals. I live in a small town so the pay isn’t fantastic. I made $16/hr at my first job at a nursing care facility, but have the ability to make at least $18.50/hr at the local hospital. Also, once you get past med/surg to the more advanced floors, the higher the salary will be.
