Which route should I take?

This Question From Florida LPN Programs | 1 Answer

Hi Everyone! I would like some help and would appreciate your input. I have been trying to get into the Lpn program at this school Called Atlantic Technical in Broward County, Florida. It is a public school and the tuition is approximately four thousand dollar, which is great compared to one of those private schools (15- 20 thousand) I’ve been trying for about a year to get into the program.. so I finally finished my entry packet for August of 2010 and they are now telling me that all 48 spots have been filled.. I was devastated. I am a single mom of two kids and this is something I really want to do. I was planning on getting my lpn certificate then continuing to get my BSN and see how far I can climb the ladder. I really dont want to wait for the next term because I feel like I am wasting time. We are in February and I need to be productive. I’m going to be 29 in April and want to be able to provide for my kids especially before they get to be teenagers(they are 3 & 6)

Can somebody please lead me to the right direction. What should I do? Should I just go to o ne of those private school and just get an associate in nursing which will take 2 years or should I just try something different that is just as good? I am open to any suggestions. Thank you so much for reading my post.Have a blessed day!!
Winnie
